Network & Systems Administrator II (CORP) - 1st Shift

Under the leadership of the Network Infrastructure Manager the Network & Systems Administrator II is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and supporting all aspects of the company's IT network and server infrastructure.
In this role, this person performs a variety of complex professional duties that are critical to the daily operations of the business.
As such this role is a lead role with a high level of accountability.
Position Specific ResponsibilitiesContinually plans, reviews, implements, and maintains a network and systems architecture and technology strategy that supports the company's mission and business objectives.
Develops and maintains network and systems architecture documentation.
Develops, tests, and maintains disaster recovery plans and procedures.
Assists with appropriate network and systems security policies and procedures, including but not limited to:
Network authentication protocols, password policies, malware protection, intrusion detection and prevention.
Works with Cybersecurity analysts on vulnerability management, such as patching, configurations and other security mitigations.
Researches and recommends new and emerging technologies.
Recommends and develops vendor relationships.
Installs, upgrades, repairs, configures, tests, monitors, optimizes and supports;All LAN/WAN network hardware, including but not limited to:
cabling, patch panels, switches, routers, wireless access points and wireless bridges.
All server hardware, including fixtures and environment.
All back-end server and infrastructure systems, including but not limited to:
Microsoft Window Server (Group Policy, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, PKI, DFS, NPS, IIS, Windows SharePoint Services, Print Server, Virtual Machine Management Software), Email Systems, Database Servers, Linux Servers, Security and Firewall Systems, Azure Cloud Services, M365Phone Systems.
Provides direction to the Network & Systems Administrator I staff and Desktop Support Analysts, including but not limited to; technical escalation as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing complex problems.
Effectively utilize work order ticketing system to manage operational tasks.
Complete quarterly training as defined by supervisor.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
3
years' experience as a Network & Systems Administrator.
CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge and experienceQualified as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent experience.
Security
certification or equivalent knowledge and experienceMust be highly customer focused and service oriented.
Must have good attention to detail and high analytical problem solving abilities.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
